If you're hosting a virtual event or video livestream, there are a few options for you to choose from. These packages are designed to help make your event stand out, drive attendance and reach.

Package options:

  1. Article with hosted livestream: Select this option if you would like a sponsored 500-word article promoting the details of your event. Once published, we will include your event's embed code (e.g. YouTube, Brightcove) so our audience can watch your event in real-time, and playback once the event has wrapped.

  2. Article with live Twitter coverage: This option gets you the 500-word article, along with up to an hour of live tweeting from Digital Journal's Twitter account. Live tweeting will capture what's being said at your event and tweets will include takeaways and links back to the article where your event is embedded on Digital Journal.

  3. Pre-event article promotion, event promotion and live Twitter coverage: This option includes an article with your event embedded, along with live Twitter coverage listed in #2 above. In addition, this options provides a pre-event promotional article to help drive awareness, attendance and ticket sales. With this option we will create and publish a sponsored article 2-4 weeks before your event announcing details, links to registration and announcements that we'll cover the event when it goes live.

  4. Pre-event, live event and post-event promotion: Everything you see in options 1-3, with the addition of a post-event article that summarizes key takeaways, quotes and embedded social media coverage from your event.

How it works:

  1. Once your purchase is made a Digital Journal account manager will reach out within 48 hours.

  2. An editor will schedule an exploratory call with you to capture key details for your event. If you've selected live Twitter coverage, we'll also gather event details to prepare for the live component.

  3. Digital Journal's custom content team will draft content which will be sent to you for review. You are free to make changes, or request one round of revisions of your assigned editor. 

  4. Once the content is approved, we will select a royalty-free image from a stock photo library to accompany your content. You may also provide images for your article with corresponding acknowledgement you have the rights to use images.

  5. You will select a day and time for publishing and once published a link will be sent to you.

  6. In addition to live Twitter coverage (if selected), each of your sponsored articles will then be promoted via Digital Journal's social media channels as follows:
